HOW TO PLACE YOUR ORDER
First time customer, or need a refresher on how it all works? We’ve laid out each step of the ordering process here so you know what to expect and can come prepared.
STEP ONE
GATHER THE INFORMATION
First things first, you’ll want to compile as much information about your order as possible. The more information you give us, the more accurate your initial quote will be and the sooner we can get started. Some information we’ll need:
- Artwork Files. We work best with vector files, learn why on our blog! If you’d like us to create custom artwork, describe what you need (reference photos are a huge help).
- Decoration Method. Will your design be screen printed, printed direct-to-garment, or embroidered? Are you ordering accessories (like pins & patches) or promotional products?
- Size, Placement, and Color Notes. How big or small will your design be, and where will it be placed on the final product? For example: 10” wide, centered on the chest. Please also list any specific colors (we work with Pantone’s Solid Coated color book) that you’d like us to match.
- Brand, Style Number, and Color. We feature a variety of our most popular products on our storefront. If you’re looking for a specific style that isn’t listed in our store, let us know! We can probably order it for you.
- Undecided? Let us know what kind of product you’re interested in (be as specific as possible! For example: a lightweight fleece quarter-zip in forest green) and we’ll make a recommendation.
- Please note: goods must be ordered through us; we do not accept customer-supplied goods (this includes drop-shipped goods from 3rd-party suppliers).
- Quantity. This one is self-explanatory. We have different tiers of bulk pricing depending on the quantity ordered, so this is a very important piece of information! If you don’t know the exact number, give us a rough estimate, or a range.
- Size Breakdown. This is a breakdown of the quantity for each size to be ordered (ex: 10 S, 15 M, 10 L, 5 XL, 2 XXL). We can give you a quote without this information, but we will need it before placing the final order. Please note that extended sizes (XXL and above) will often have a slightly higher cost.
- Finishing. We offer a handful of different finishing services, such as custom tags.
- Deadline. Our standard turnaround time for screen printing, embroidery, and direct-to-garment orders is 10-15 business days from the day that payment is received. Longer turnaround times may apply for orders including promotional/accessory products, finishing options, and/or multiple decoration methods. If you have a deadline for your order, let us know so we can factor that into our quote, as we may require a fee to expedite your order.
- Budget. If you have a budget for your order, let us know! We can make suggestions to keep your order total under budget or aim for a certain cost per piece.
STEP TWO

Now that you know what you’ll be ordering, it’s time to reach out! There are two ways you can go about this:

STEP THREE
REVIEW & APPROVE YOUR QUOTE
You have your quote. If you agree to the pricing, just say the word!
Not what you expected? There are often a couple different ways that we can adjust your order to better match your expectations. If you have an overall budget, or a target cost per piece, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
STEP FOUR
FINALIZE YOUR MOCKUPS
Once your quote is approved, it’s off to the next step: mockups! This is where we take your design and create a digital representation of what the final product will look like. This includes information about your garment, decoration method, and production specs such as imprint location, size, and colors.
Your account manager will make any changes to the mockups that you need, until they have your final approval. There is no limit to the amount of revisions you can make, although having a clear idea of what you want from the start will ensure a quicker approval process. Please note: no changes can be made once you submit payment (next step), so be sure to double-check all details (like spelling) before doing so.
STEP FIVE
PLACE YOUR ORDER
All of the details are worked out, and everything has been stamped with your approval. To place your order, we’ll send you a final invoice and a request for payment. After you submit payment, your work is done!
STEP SIX
RELAX!
Now you get to sit back and let us handle the rest. Your order is sent off to our production team to be customized to the highest standard, according to your approved mockups. Once production is finished, your completed order is carefully inspected, packed, and prepared for shipping.
STEP SEVEN
RECEIVE YOUR COMPLETED ORDER
At last, it’s mail day! You’ll receive your finished order according to your previously-discussed turnaround time. If you have any questions about your order, we’re just an email (or call) away. Enjoy your custom merch!
